Josh Gracin

Just finished shooting a new Josh Gracin video for his current single “Favorite State of Mind” in the Valley of Fire, an amazing location near Las Vegas. We had a great shoot even though it rained, sleeted, snowed and hailed in the middle of the desert. Go figure. It finally turned into a gorgeous day, and we got tons of incredible footage. Josh and I also had WAY too much fun. He’s a great guy, and I can’t wait to do it again, but maybe next time we’ll go to a beach or somewhere a little less . . . unpredictable. Hehe.

Carrie Wins 2006 CMT MUSIC AWARDS!

Tonight, Carrie took home two CMT Music Awards (Breakthrough Video and Female Video of the Year) for the music video, directed by yours truly, “Jesus Takes the Wheel.” I’m psyched that Carrie’s fans responded so well to the piece, and I’m extremely happy for Carrie! She deserves every success that comes her way.

“This is my very first acceptance speech, so I made a list,” Underwood said in accepting the breakthrough video of the year. “First of all, thank you fans so much for voting for me again. You have no idea what it means to me.”
